The Phantom Stench
I’m in my bed, and yet I smell... A stench so bad, I cannot tell. It seeps through walls, it fills the air, This foul aroma everywhere. Could it be Carlos and his feet, A toxic storm, a sour defeat? Though he’s not here, his presence stays, A haunting scent that never fades. No candle burns to chase it out, No open window turns about. The smell persists, a wicked curse, Each passing hour, it just gets worse. Oh Carlos, man, what have you done? Your feet’s foul reign spares not a one. Please, I beg, wash clean the crime, And grant us peace from this grime.
