The Person I Used to Know

I'm looking for this person I used to know. They made me believe that this world was just and fair. I knew them a long time ago. They taught me that if a stranger judges me, not to care. They taught me no resentments, just let it go. They taught me to keep my glass half full And to cut through to the truth and toss out all the bull. When I did something wrong They were patient and strong. And reminded me to never stop trying. Then I went and lost track of them When I was crying. I just never thought how hard this would be...
