The Path of Self Healing
My journey for self-improvement I've embraced, To mend my soul, to find my rightful place. Yet simplicity eludes, it's not that easy, Striving for balance, I'll set my spirit free. Healing myself, a daunting, twisting road, No more excuses, I'll face what I've sowed. I grew accustomed to playing the victim's part, Pitying myself, neglecting my heart's chart. Numerous times my heart has been shattered and scarred, Survival mode became my steadfast guard. Strength is my armor, I've mastered the art, But pain lingers, baffling my weary heart. Achievements amassed, though too soon in years, Why does my heart still bear old wounds and tears? What I need may not align with desire's plea, Delaying healing prolongs the hurt's decree. In solitude's solace, the answer I'll find, Unearthing traumas buried deep in my mind. Embracing the quiet, setting pain adrift, Releasing the past, my spirit to uplift.
