The Paradox of Acceptance
Value not the same way you value yes, For in the depths of no, lies a hidden yes, A yes to growth, to learning, and to might, A yes to resilience, in the face of endless fight. Do not take no as an affront, a personal slight, For in its darkness, lies a light, a guiding insight, That life is not a linear path, but a winding road, With twists and turns, that test our will, and our abode. In this journey, we must learn to welcome every fate, To embrace each outcome, with an open heart, and a willing state, For in the ebb and flow, of life's uncertain tide, Lies a hidden peace, that only acceptance can provide. So let us not be swayed, by the whims of fate, Nor let our hearts be troubled, by the vagaries of life's state, For in the end, it is not the outcome, that defines our way But how we respond, to each new day. If people choose to leave, let them go, with love, And if they hate, respond with kindness, sent from above, For in the grand tapestry, of life's intricate design, Lies a hidden beauty, that only love can define. When someone says no, accept with a gentle smile, The same way you would welcome, a loving yes, all the while For in the paradox of acceptance, lies a profound peace.
