I paint love upon a canvas, A beautiful array of colors, Purple, yellow, reds, and blues, The picture containing truths, The fire red for passion, The blues for strife, The yellow for empathy, The purple for might, I added another color, That you may find strange, The color black Within a deep range, For its color holds meaning, It's the color of love leaving, I've been broken, And let down by love hard, Feeling like death, Being left in the dark, I wanna say that the picture was neat, But the black color covers my feet, The pain was obvious, I destroy the painting, Covering it in black, To represent the love your heart lacks, Why do I try, To paint love in my mind, When the painting, Never existed for you, The entire time
