The Pain
I can’t bear this weight anymore, This one-sided love cuts me at the core. Her silence, her ignorance—sharp as a knife, It slowly drains the colour from my life. I give my heart, yet she turns away, No glance, no word, not even to stay. Her absence screams louder than sound, In her coldness, my soul is bound. And still I love, though it breaks me apart, Her shadow lives deep inside my heart. But how long can I bleed in vain? Her ignorance kills, more than the pain.
