the other side of madness
in the madness your falling, clinging, scrambling and struggling your way out. A heavy soaking blanket weighing you down. fighting and churning with all your might, to breath again, to feel light. all this for the nothing on the other side. at first relief, and some fear, sprinkles of doubt dashed across the floor. finally a floor, something steady to stand on. even rock bottom is stable ground. it is here that action can start taking flight, a starting over of sorts glimmer of hope, opportunity even a glance away and its gone. it too felt very much alive for a moment but with the blink of an eye, a creak on the floor, it fades into Grey static. nothingness, not empty, just dull and void. a sky, not quite light. its here on the other side of madness you never want to be.
