The Open Door
The Open Door R I. I have come from a desolate land and now I must believe My times are in His hands In His hands By decree, We've been driven From Spain And though it was our home We dare no more remain More remain!8 But there's a hope I seek He's called The Open Door He is the One That takes my Side I've never met Before His are the words I seek His streams of water Never fail And I don't know Why he calls me Israel, Israel. II. So we've come to a place of not our own And no one takes our side We feel so all alone all alone Suddenly There's a knock at the door Although It's not our fight They've come to take one more Not one more! But there's a Hope I seek He's called The Open Door He is the One Who takes my side I've never met before His are the words I seek His streams of water Never fail And I don't know why He calls me Israel, Israel. Now we're here We are back in the land But there's still much We do not understand Understand Although we're here Something doesn't seem right And though I am for Peace But if we have to fight We must fight! But there' a hope I seek He's called The Open Door He is the One That takes my side I've never met before His are the words I seek
