The One I Prayed For

I found him, the one I always prayed for. Not just a friend, but a lover, a brother, a protector, a guide. I love him with all that I have. We break each other sometimes, but he owns his mistakes, he faces his truth. Meeting him is the greatest blessing God has given me. The best chapter of my life. He found me broken. He didn’t try to fix me. He just stayed. Supported me. Told me when I was wrong. It never felt like control. It felt like love. Real love. The kind I never knew. When he listens, he listens to understand, not just to answer. There is so much to say about him, but words would never finish. He understands me without me trying. He just gets me. I love him. I will always love him. I will always thank God for bringing him into my life.
