THE ONE I BROKE
I was reckless with your heart, thinking love would always wait. I mistook your devotion for something unbreakable and I broke it anyway. If I could gather every lie, every betrayal, I would burn them into ash and lay the dust at your feet, just to show you I’ve learned what truth costs. My hunger betrayed us, my restless heart tore the love of what you gave me whole. And now the silence is mine— a punishment sharper than any anger you could have shown. Still, I love you. Not with the careless love that wasted what was sacred, but with the ache of knowing I was given everything and chose to break it. If you can still hear me, if even a corner of your heart remembers, I beg for a chance— not to erase the past, but to honor what remains. To love you rightly, the way I should have all along. @Gy....
