The One
I can never be the one for anyone; I can never find the one—what is "the one"? The one that loves you unconditionally, The one that sacrifices everything for you, The one that fights for you when someone spreads lame rumors about you? What is "the one"? Do they exist in real life, or do they only exist in my imagination? My imagination, which is filled with rainbows and butterflies— That imagination: rainbows which disappear after some time, or butterflies whose lifespan is too short? They say love is a pain, but the reality is, you can’t create a loving heart through painful actions. You say love means finding someone perfect, but the fact is, it is all about finding a person— you see an imperfect partner as a perfect partner. All I want to say is, love me or hate me— both are in my favor. If you love me, I’m always in your heart, and if you hate me, I’m always in your mind. And knowing that "the one" doesn’t even exist, I am still here. — Written by Jiya
