The Night's Malevolent Feast
When the moon bleeds black and the stars retreat, The night unveils its dark deceit, Whispers crawl from the devil's lair, A festering breath taints the midnight air.The wind’s lament, a banshee’s wail, As shadows stretch like a funeral veil, Graves crack open, their secrets spew, The dead rise up, with vengeance due.Beneath the rot, where nightmares creep, The earth itself begins to weep, For souls condemned to endless blight, In the belly of the malevolent night.Eyes of madness in the trees, Watch as fear begins to seize, Every heart that dares to beat, In the presence of such morbid heat.Demons dance in twisted glee, Feasting on the agony, Of those who wander, lost in dread, Among the wraiths, the cursed, the dead. The darkness feeds, it drinks its fill, On shattered hopes and fractured will, A raven's caw, a witch's spell, A symphony of night-born hell.Blood drips thick from the midnight hour, A sacrament to evil’s power, The night, a beast that’s never sated, In cursed shadows, it’s venerated. So beware, when dusk grows old, And the night’s embrace turns icy cold, For in its depths, the dark delights, Of macabre horrors and endless nights.
