The night we met
It was calm and serene Me with my book and the wind, Blowing soft against my cheeks. You said hello… and there you were, As though stepped from a portrait surreal and sincere. You sat with me for a while, And laughed as I stole shy glances your way. You knew then that I was nervous I couldn’t bring myself to speak, But I didn’t need to… your smile was the world. Ifẹ́, you said your name... And in that instant, my walls fell. You rushed in like a storm— And time with you stretched into forever. I would relive each moment endlessly, As if time stood still in your presence. Ifẹ́, you came as you left, Like a whisper, No sounds, no goodbyes... only Memories that will stay with me for a lifetime.
