the night
She cries alone Every night in bed No one believes The thoughts inside of her head No one sees Through her mask so prone To smiles and laughter The perfect deception The perfect daughter She was thought to be Straight a’s were the only acception Little did they know She was no longer present She watches the blood Mix with the water Waiting for it to be over Waiting for all of the pain to end The red flows like a flood How could no body actually know her All she needed was a friend Her consciousness fades away Slowly, like the end of a day with shallow breaths And heavy lids She smiles Knowing it is finally over With the peace of death She sees the light She walks into it Following the angels into the night
