the night
Upon my sled of solitude, I gently glide, Through the frozen night, where my secrets hide. Balcony perched, composing in the hushed night, In calm seclusion, my soul finds its quiet. No audience, no clamor, just peace's embrace, Thoughts bloom like flowers, in this tranquil space. Inwardly, I explore, no disturbances, no dread, In silence cocooned, I find solace instead. In serene moments, the world fades away, No messages intrude, no burdens to sway. Amidst the quietude, I ponder and see, Is it I who's the burden, or can I just be? This isolation, a gift, an escape's advance, From life's illusions, in this peaceful expanse. Calmness blankets me, in the hush I'm set free, From life's rush and noise, I find inner glee. Outside, stress and sprightliness, they may thrive, But in solitude's cradle, my heart takes a dive. Tranquil silence, a cherished reliance, In this sled of calmness, I find my alliance. A remedy for my soul, in this nightly retreat, On the balcony, words and feelings meet. In solitude's sled, where thoughts gently sway, I find refuge, solace, as night turns to day.
