The Mutterings of the Wasp
The mutterings of the wasp, Such wizardry, such potency, That yielded unto thee. For all who ask as such, Tis simpler to relent and perish. And I have given much... Twas greater in my perusal, The tangerine I cherish, By my languid magic and refusal. The necessity of allegory, And imperfections of the idioms. Telling takes what was once the story. And turns it in to crumbs. The violet shade upon the hillock. Takes away and bestows, The magenta auras upon the hillock. Sets about the brilliance that grows. Should sneering fiends fain friendship, With angelic beings coming near, I think only scarce of my membership, That'll be what you hear. The fixing of the moon, Until the moon's all fixed up. The tides are turning soon, Until the seas are all mixed up. Run amok and dance about, And let the poets tell the rest, For all the bits I'm leaving out, Are the bits I like the best.
