The mournful reality
I walk through, feeling eyes tracking my every move. My eyes roaming around the crowd, till they land on him. He stares right back at me, intensely. I don't know what that brimming gaze wants to convey. He's heading towards me and I'm not sure why. He never broke the eye contact. The tension between us made my stomach churn. Suddenly, his eyes welled up with tears, and so did mine, as I realised he wasn't real, when he continued to walk through me and I felt nothin like I wasn't made of skin, but of air. I hurried to call the name, he never seemed to give.
