the most convenient way to die
These recent days have weighed heavily on my soul, a relentless cycle of weariness. Amidst this turmoil, I pondered: what is the gentlest path to depart this world? To slip away without causing sorrow, without leaving behind a void of absence. Should I succumb to a cocktail of pills, or embrace the finality of a noose? Perhaps a bullet would grant me release? Yet these methods seem feeble, lacking in their promise. Then, a revelation dawned upon me. The truest ease in departing lies not in death itself. For in the end, any departure leaves behind a wake of grief. And so I realized, the most convenient way to die is not to die at all.
