🌙THE MOON WRITES BACK🌙
I wrote to the moon a thousand times on sleepless nights and quiet lines. I asked if hearts could really mend, or if this hurt would never end. I never thought I'd get a reply from something hanging in the sky. But one cold night, the stars went still, and silver light touched my windowsill. "Dear heart," it said, "I've seen you cry, and all the tears you try to hide. You call me steady, calm, and bright, but I’m not whole—I borrow light. The darkest skies still let me glow, not because I own the show. So don’t be ashamed when shadows stay; even I have nights that fade away. One day you'll laugh and mean it too, one day the hurt won't follow you. Keep looking up when hope feels small— the night has never feared the fall." The letter ended. Morning came. The moon was gone, but I felt changed.
