THE MOON HEARD
Under the blanket of the velvet sky, I whisper to the moon up high. In the stillness of the night's embrace, I share with her tales of your grace. The moon, my faithful listener, She hears my words, so tender and pure. I speak of your smile, bright as the sun, And how in my heart, you are the one. With every word, the moon does glow, Reflecting the love that continues to grow. She carries my secrets, my hopes, and dreams, As I pour out my heart in moonlit streams. Through the darkness, she remains my guide, A constant presence by my side. She listens as I speak of your embrace, And how your love brings me solace and grace. The moon, a silent confidante, Witness to the love that we enchant. She hears the whispers, soft and true, As I talk about you, every night anew. So let the moon be our witness, dear, As I speak of you, loud and clear. For in her light, our love takes flight, As she carries our words into the night.
