The Monsters
Breaking down. Nothing left. No one to call. Nothing to do. Nothing to look forward to in the morning, When I wake up. If I wake up. Do I want to wake up? The world is cruel, But the things in world are crueler. The work is hard, But the Work environment is harder. The harder life gets, the more life hurts. The more life hurts, the less I have. The less I have, the harder life gets. See, the cycle goes round and round 'Till you make it think that it stopped. 'Till you tricked the pain. 'Till you made a friend, or you laughed for a second. It doesn't stop until you tell it to. Until you want it to go away. But what if it's solving your issues? What is it's protecting you from this cruel, cruel world, And these cruel, cruel people? What do you do then? Do you want it to go away? Do you need it to go away? Or do you keep it? Keep the pain that protects you? Keep the monsters? What do you choose?
