**The Mirror Within**
In the quiet of my mind’s retreat, A judge stands firm, unyielding, complete. Eyes that see through every disguise, Reflecting truths I’d rather disguise. It whispers doubts and questions deep, Of choices made and promises to keep. Yet in its gaze, I seek my way, For inner judgment, harsh but grey. It’s a voice of truth, a compass true, Guiding paths I seldom knew. Though harsh, its wisdom, too, I find, A mirror held within my mind.
