The Middle of the Path

I've taken a couple bullets, for me and for you I may have slowed down, I may have rerouted But I've made up lost ground and I'm on to something new And I couldn't be happier with who I've recruited Hopefully I've made it past halfway Hopefully the worst was over before we met Hopefully together we'll reach the day Where everything we've worked for, we get That day with you is a thought that keeps me going A thought that keeps me out of the pits That day will come, I know without knowing Because the joy you bring me never quits
