mediocrity is death a slow uneventful death one you don't even feel is happening until it's too late to be at the top, to be special is to be respected, envied, beloved to be at the bottom, to know real struggle comes with a sense of honor, it creates a strength but to be in the middle, to wander with the rest of the herd towards the cliff that takes all of us off this mortal coil to just be content with good enough to look, speak, act, dress, smell, eat, work, breed like the rest of the cattle that is a most terrifying end to meet the middle the mediocre is the end itself we're just not alive enough to know it
