The memory of love
( for the girl who searched for love and found instead the realisation that she had long forgotten it) She stands alone in this ungodly hour traces of fear hath her soul devour heart clasped around her broken faith her mind a silent whirlpool of rage She seeks out the stray winds lost in the night blindly wishing for emotion which shall her flame ignite Her grasp reaches further into a hopeless abyss praying to find a purpose she had placed amiss she dived beneath the seven seas to find it all in vain she soared beneath the galaxies to fly above her pain but the emotion as she knew it would leave her heart to starve and her mind and soul would hold for eternity the memory of love
