The Man I'm

I may not possess the trappings of wealth and fame, No television screens to showcase my name, But I have a vision, a burning fire within, A passion that drives me, a purpose to win. I may not ride in luxury, with wheels so fine, But I've got something deeper, a spark that's divine, A flame that fuels my soul, a heartbeat that guides, A sense of purpose, that material wealth can't provide. I may not have the world's riches, or the things they adore, But I've got something priceless, something I adore, I've got God, a guiding light, a presence that's true, A source of strength, that sees me through. I won't take shortcuts, to wealth and fame, I'll earn my keep, with integrity and honor's name, You may judge me, by what I wear, or what I own, But I'm more than appearances, my heart is made of gold. I'm kind, I love, I'm honest, and loyal to the core, My joy's not found, in material things, or worldly score, It comes from within, from a place of peace and rest, A connection with the divine, that I'm blessed. You may not understand, a man like me, I'm different, unique, created for destiny, I won't let circumstances, define who I am, I'll face the storm, with courage in my heart, and a steadfast plan.
