the man I did pray
I remember I used to always hit my knees and pray for the man that would accompany me I would tell my father I want him tall dark and handsome strong hands to hold my fragile heart why shoulders so our world couldn't fall apart long legs running after him my friend my lover more than 10 a friend and all of it started within to give him a heart that can love like no other strong and enjoying every person to make it so pure to unite with mine for this world we could redefine I used to tell my father to make him stronger than any other kind because I know myself I know I'm not perfect far from it is but I pray that my father couldn't make me simply his that everything he wished for everything he dreamed he would find within me and he would be the man of my dreams and my friends the one that I prayed for like falling from above a little busy understand the word that I call love something that endures and holds onto the end risking all regardless of kills me from within I pray for this man I pray night and day no I don't understand where he went or where I want to stay yet hope remains and I pray and I pray and my father see and returning from day
