The Maker of the Map
My thoughts are a whirlwind and my fears consume me, so I yearn for clarity in this fog that I walk. I cannot see to my left or to my right nor the branch beneath my step. With my eyes wide, my chest is tight. The map I was given says to go straight in a line, no bends, no breaks. It's such a simple guide -- So why is it so difficult when applied? Do not sway to the side or through the crack. Just stay on track I do. I walk down this unfamiliar path I find relief in only one thing. I trust the maker of the map.
