The Love Paradox
What makes love so beautifully terrifying? Is it the surge of dopamine that makes it so addictive? Or is it the fear that one day it will just be a memory you wish to relive? Is it the sudden amnesia as a result of eye contact? Or is that an indifferent lover causes a pseudo-anxiety attack? Is it the tender touch of their kiss? Or is it that you fear they will be the cause of your spiraling down a depressive abyss? Is it the feeling of not wanting to let go when you are hugging? Or is it that the thought of them leaving is suffocating? I think we are aware that love puts us in a self-afflicted blinding trance, Yet we give love a beautifully terrifying chance!
