the love from a mother
you never wanted me not in the way that mothers love their daughters you acted like a best friend for my sister when, only you benefitted. you joked and pinched and proded but further away we grew. like an apple carried away from its tree im not like her, you see now, I know she didn't intend for this, 8 months left, I became her friend, perhaps But I never asked for this. I just wanted to be loved by her the same love she had for my brother but yet, I was fine, I didnt almost die. I was a headache too hard to handle I was too much, for example, I became the harness child. I became the problem child. I was JUST a child. funny how things come back to that one simple fact you couldn't be a mother but I couldn't be a child.
