THE LOTUS FLOWER
Like a lotus upon still waters your beauty never fades away, it blooms a little brighter each dawn as if it learns new ways to stay. Seasons pass and rivers wander, the moon may change the stars may fall, yet like the flower upon the water, my love keeps blooming through it all. No storm can make its petals part; for the lotus does not bloom forever in the pond-it blooms forever in my heart. And if time writes its final chapter and every fleeting moment flies my love for you will be like the lotus, forever blooming where forever lies.
