The lost flame
In a city... so dim and dark she searches for a light that lingers In her heart. named hope? I can't recall, as life's brutality consumed her. society's ritual I guess... mind eyes and heart still wonder around looking, trying to catch a glimpse of her. I guess she's the past I dare not to forget, a masterpiece crafted with brushstrokes of love, warmth and laughter. A me, they hated, wanted by society's lethal legacy of life. In the end, I guess they won and she lost, as society's sinister devotion devours my dying soul. ©withasa nm
