The Loss Of Humanity
being me is so scary, being a 17 year old girl whose story has just begun, and yet she's already a girl recovering from meth addiction, alcohol constantly in her blood and powder in her nose. yes being me is scary, my sanity like a leaky faucet drip drip dripping away. but I am not ashamed of my past for past me made me who I am today and to be ashamed of past me is to be ashamed of me today. and we need not be ashamed, but be humble and have humility, to realize that we are not perfect, but not broken, in our imperfectness we are simply perfect, we are human and lately I see a lot of humans, but also a loss of all their humanity. - Asher
