The Long Quiet
In shadows of a thousand masks, I've danced, A chameleon of personas, I've advanced, To please the world, I played my part, Crafting emotions, a work of art. With each new role, my essence did divide, A kaleidoscope of feelings, I couldn't hide, But one fateful day, the charade did cease, All personalities converged into inner peace. No expression on my face, no emotion in my voice, My movements devoid of personality's choice, I became a vessel, an empty, boundless space, Feeling everything, yet nothing left to trace. Infinite and a void, I found my core, A paradox of existence, forevermore, I'm nothing, and I'm everything, I reside, In the realm where emotions and egos collide. A silent symphony of the self, I've become, A universe of emotions, endless and numb.
