The little things
The Cloudys gently draped in the velvet sky The power lines running away for every time we pass it by little run-down houses carelessly left behind The sound of wind softening the sound of rushing cars The moon hidden behind the shadow of the endless stars I can feel it I can taste it I can breath it The smell of lillys perfume the aroma permeating for each breath I take it's a feeling I never wish to shake the sound of an endless Melody for each tap of the piano key For each strum of the guitarra i keep the comfort of the sun warming my skin the comfort of the pillow resting beneath my shin The funny feeling i get when i bake a cake waiting for the sun to awake each blanket resting on my bed The little moments like this rests softly hidden in my head
