~The Letter of Mourn~
~The Letter of Mourn~ Dear Jennifer, It is with great sorrow we inform you your daughter is dead. Well I'm unsure if "Dead" is the correct word, She was never really alive to begin with, She was an apparition, an illusion. You saw her but she wasn't really there, Your not wrong when you say you saw her. Plenty of people did, plenty of people still do. But she's not there. She was a trick of the light, a pile of clothes in the dark or a sweater on a closet door you had mistaken for a person. The voice you heard that you thought was her was your son crying for help, just to be heard. Still, you ignore him to continue your wild goose chase for the illusion you want because you don't like the reality you have. (I understand grief, but when you grieve more for someone you never lost than for those you have...That's when it stops making sense.)
