the leash
so many men think that because they are capable of great acts of violence and aggression and cruelty that they know what it is to be angry but they don't they can't not really they cannot fathom the depths of the rage every woman they've ever met keeps on a leash at the base of her throat. rage that is clawing and screaming and tearing her apart in an effort to escape begging to be heard to be seen and maybe one day released into the atmosphere never to be seen again
