The last step to grief
I cry as I hold onto the last memory of him. The tears were cold again my hot face I couldn't remember him any longer Is it time to let go? Others haven't I don't know how to feel. The memories of him are the ones others gave I don't have my own knowledge of him He's forever in my heart and my family tree But he'll never be in my own memories I wish I knew him. I wish I could've had more time I'm sitting here crying as I've lost the ability to remember him The last memory I have is gone I stare at the things that were once his I'll never really know him But he knew me.
