The last promise
You were standing there, in the middle of the night on this abandoned bridge. You looked into my eyes, I had to promise you that I will live for you. I promised, but deep down I knew I wouldn't be able to do it. You said that you love me and will always love me. You turned around and looked down into the depths. I tried to stop you but I couldn't do anything. I couldn't move my body. You leaned forward and let yourself fall. Into the deep abyss. I couldn't do anything and collapsed on the spot and cried. I knew it wasn't my fault but I still blamed myself. I blamed myself for not helping you. I blamed myself for not stopping you. And I will always blame myself for that..
