The Language of Heart
I never gaze into my own reflection, Lost in the depths of my own reflection. The mirror's surface ripples like the sea, Where I drown in solitude, with only me. My house of glass, transparent and bare, Reflects the cracks and flaws I try to repair. I mend the wounds of others with love so true, But every attempt leaves me bleeding anew. The darkness closes in, a thousand stabs so fine, Leaving me shattered, a fragile soul divine. The chaos outside, a cacophony of sound, Echoes through my mind, where sanity is drowned. I long to disappear, to fade into the night, To escape the turmoil, the endless fight. To leave behind the pain, the hurt, the strife, And find solace in the silence, where I can revive. But still, I remain, trapped in this glass house, A prisoner of my own thoughts, with no way out. The sea of solitude, where I drown and fade, A reflection of my soul, where darkness is made.
