The Land of Joy
The rainbow vanished, the skies turned gray, A storm approached, fierce in its sway. Elephants trembled, trapped in the gloom, A shadow of sorrow, a land of doom. No sign of hope, no helping hand, Questions lingered, heavy as sand. The laughter faded, the joy erased, A bleak silence now firmly placed. Yet a child, with innocence so pure, Asked of the joy, the land they adore. The people rose, their spirits anew, To shield the child from the bitter truth. "We are the city where love remains, Where care and kindness break all chains. No storm can shatter, no darkness stay, The joy within will find its way." The clouds parted, the light returned, The lessons of hope once more were learned. The rainbow stretched in its subtle hue, The land of joy was born anew. Through storms that rage and skies that cry, The heart of the land will never die. For where there's love and hands to mend, The land of joy will always ascend.
