The Lake near thy Cottage
I have run away from the vain chambers of mine palace, As mine lodge is the bank of the lake near thy cottage. The Lake which is fortunate to reflect thee and thy face, After seeing thy cottage, mine palace feels like a cage. I have forgotten the taste of smooth and expensive wine, After drinking the water of this lake where thou wash thy feet. I wait every morning for thee to come at lake as thou art mine sunshine, The little giggles of the ripples of this lake sounds very sweet. The flowers near this lake art more precious than any jewellery, As they art used by thee to adorn thy gorgeous and silky hair. Thy sweet laughter when thou splash the lake's water cutely Is a medicine to this lovesick heart which has fallen deeply in thy love's lair. My only wish is to make a cottage near this lake next to thine And live with thee, splash water at thee and make thee mine.
