The knight

The Knight thought he was saving me. But the one who was protecting it was me. I keep you safe from yourself because you were losing yourself with a lie. That you in doubt with your self. But you are the one who keeps pointing the finger at me like I was lost. Yes, I was lost a long time ago. But now I am trying to find myself. But you are blind by your lie. Just by saying you are ok. But your eye is telling me something else. I saved myself a long time ago. But you are the one who needs to be protected. You don't stand by your words. You are living a lie. So how can I save you? If I don't believe in your lie. You don't know how I can trust you or not hurt me if I can't trust you. So how are you going to save me? When I am the one who saved you. Here I go putting someone first before me. God save me so I can save you. Then after that, if I fall, you can keep me. I have you to catch me. But first, you have to protect yourself from losing me. Only you know my heart. You do support me and lift me. What if I fall? Will you pick me? Or live me stay down. So are you my knight armor? Or are you going to stay down when I rise?
