the knife
there's something so pleasing watching their blood drip, forming a crimson puddle underneath my black boots. I dropped the knife, the metal clanging on the floor, I let go of they're neck, loosening my grip, as the drained, lifeless body hit the floor. I clapped my hands together, a small smile forming across my face as I knelt down in front of them. One step closer to freedom, I thought. Then I grabbed my leather jacket and left. Leaving all of it behind as everything, went up in flames.
