I am the joke of the realm to all who seek the joy, Watch me confound myself to an eternity of misery, With dreams that nurture hope in a heart plagued with sorrow, See how I sow the seed of my destruction, With ambitions that strengthen the hold of my affliction, For you can take the boy out of the dream, But you can't take the dream out of the boy, Watch how it takes root in my heart and poisons my spirit, For I am but a dreamer, not to be taken seriously.
