The hurt I Carry
I told him everything he nodded, smiled, acted like he cared but I felt the truth how little I meant, how little I mattered. Every time I spoke I felt pieces of myself vanish stripped away by his hands hands that never held me, hands that only took. I hate him with a fire that burns inside me he took my trust, my peace, my innocence and left me hollow, left me shaking in the silence of his absence. And yet my heart wants to let go my soul wants to breathe but the weight of him suffocates me and I cannot lift it. I am drowning in what I lost in what I wanted to be and what he made me feel. I hate him but I also hate that I still feel him inside me, where he never should have been.
