the human mind
I've dedicated so many poems to the same emotion, that sometimes I hesitate whether to try to externalize it to eliminate it, or simply talk about it, giving it more importance in my life and letting it take over. I'm terrified of every single thought that crosses my mind. I allow panic to guide me and become my master. I belong to the terror I provoke, I become a slave to my own mind, I condemn myself to eternal dissatisfaction and to seeing happiness as unattainable. It's all caused by the same thing: fear and the human mind.
