THE HEART'S UNYIELDING HOPE
Each day without you feels like an empty space, A hollow void where once your light did gleam, I thought that time would grant me saving grace, But nothing fills this solitary dream. I struggle to release what should be gone, Yet in my heart you're meant to stay, A truth that carries on from dusk till dawn, That will not fade or ever drift away. These trying times demand both hope and love, For without them, all meaning falls apart. As seasons change and push and pull and shove, Yet still you linger deep within my heart, I trust the Lord will make all right in time, And weave our broken threads to something fine.
