THE HEART THAT HELD ME
*In 2024 I felt grey,* *Clouds would not go away.* *Then you came into my day,* *Brought my heart peace to stay.* *No harsh words, no judging eyes,* *Just you hearing all my cries.* *You took my pain as your own,* *So I would not grieve alone.* *Your voice fell soft like rain,* *Washing out the deepest pain.* *Your hands helped me to stand,* *You were my safe, strong hand.* *Tabitha means grace,* *You gave me sacred space.* *You walked through every storm,* *Kept my broken spirit warm.* *Not by blood, yet you are* *A mother-love that shines far.* *You helped this wounded grow,* *More than you will ever know.* *For each hour by my side,* *For each truth you did not hide,* *My thanks will always be* *A song you set in me.* *So this Mother’s Day I pray* *Joy will light your every day.* *Heart of gold, soul so true,* *I’m so grateful for you.* --- _With all my love,_ _Ruth_ Maajah Poetry
