The Gospel of Rot
Every truth I write begins to drown in blood Consumed by the ignorant and deceitful flood My words becoming a festering wound As blind followers flock synchronization tuned They cry out with each revelation I utter When I say our land is built on death they stutter Reminding that our nation is fueled by greed All of them an abiding slave as we pretend to be freed Will they realize that while we rest others die Each breath taken is someone else's last as a tear slips from a glass-fixed eye The food we eat made by slaves we deem as criminals Have we abandoned our own moral principles They beat me down with each honest truth Yet fail to protect the degradation of their youth Aye we live in an age where truth is a weapon As the Corrupt flourish and continue oppression
